A Milestone in Growing Georgia

When Hyundai Motor Group set out to build their nearly 3,000-acre Metaplant in Ellabell, Georgia, it marked a significant milestone for the region and our great state. This massive facility is not just about producing electric and hybrid vehicles; it's about innovation, economic growth, job creation, and sustainability.

As the primary erosion control contractor for this historic project, Moses Grass Company proudly stepped up—and we felt right at home. With over 75 years of expertise supporting infrastructure growth throughout Georgia, our team leveraged decades of experience to handle the complexity and scale of this landmark project.
Throughout construction, our crews implemented comprehensive erosion control strategies. We installed miles of silt fencing to protect nearby waterways and wetlands, meticulously carried out wetland mitigation activities, and utilized hydroseeding to stabilize disturbed areas rapidly. Additionally, we introduced advanced technologies, including agricultural drones to plant temporary grass efficiently in challenging locations such as materials stockpiles—ensuring continuous protection and regulatory compliance.
The Hyundai Metaplant project is a testament to Moses Grass Company's ongoing commitment to environmental responsibility and our broader mission of Growing Georgia. We're proud to have contributed our expertise to such a pivotal development, enhancing infrastructure, protecting the environment, and strengthening local economies across our home state.
